Biography – Rim's
Rémy Poirier, known by the pseudonym Rim’s, is a hybrid artist based in Longueuil, Québec, Canada and also in Boynton Beach , Florida ,Before dedicating himself fully to the visual arts, he spent several decades in the performing arts world as an actor, comedian, stage director, and drama teacher.
His artistic journey has led him to develop a visual arts practice that brings together digital creation and acrylic painting. Inspired by the meeting point between the real and the unreal, he creates expressionist works in which color, movement, and figurative and abstract forms coexist within a dreamlike and emotionally charged universe.
